What's new

What is gift card

I'm not sure what you are saying, so this is a guess.

If you have somehow signed out of your iTunes account, just go the the settings you described or where you Apple ID shows above the balance, tap on it and sign back in.

There is a separate sign-in for each store: iBooks, iTunes, and the App Store. Signing in or out of one has no affect on the others.

Sir, step which I write maybe u understand. Go setting, then iTunes & App Store, where u can see Apple ID when I click ask for password when I inter view Id there one option iCloud device attach I by mistake remove device. NOW what happen did it's make any difference.

In iTunes & App Store, when you want to view your Apple ID, you'll see your Apple ID, have options to look at your gift history, view payment informations, manage subscriptions and alerts, there's nothing where you can remove your device from iCloud, afaik:

Ok. I think I know what you are talking about now: The Remove This Device from iTune in the Cloud button.

Though few people run into this problem, Apple limits the number of iOS devices that can be associated with an iTunes account to 10. The button lets you remove a device in case you've run into this limit. I can't find anything that tells you how to re-add a device if you've removed it; but I suspect all you need to to is sign back into the iTunes store. Since that's how you add the device to begin with.

If you are experiencing problems with the iTunes Store, or can not see your purchased content, I would contact iTunes Store support (not Apple Tech Support) and see what they say.

The boxed text in Johanna's last screen shot tells you how to re-associate your device with iTunes in the Cloud.

Either turn on automatic downloads for Music in Settings > iTunes & App Store, or go to the Purchased tab in the iTunes Store and download a previously purchased track.

The Redeem button is for entering gift card codes,

or for other gifted content if someone sent music, TV Shows, Apps, or something else to you as a gift.

Apple sometimes has promotions that offer a free gift card with a purchase. The gift card will come as an extra and you would have to redeem it yourself.

Other sellers sometimes offer gift cards as promotions as well.

There is no way of purchasing an iPad that will automatically add credit to your iTunes Store account. If you did not get a gift card with your iPad, you did not get points (credit) to help with downloads.
