AppStore Updates

Is anyone else having the problem of AppStore not showing updates in the updates tab, but when you search an app's name it says update? Yesterday I had some updates, then all of a sudden they disappeared. I then uninstalled angry birds and resynced an older version through iTunes, and it does the same thing. Any ideas?

It's because the App Store developer portal is closed until 28 Dec. that's what powers the app update notices. Be patient.
