Artstudio Limitations

I've been working with artstudio for my cartoons, but have an illustration project I was hoping to complete all on the iPad. I'm most comfortable with artstudio, but when I go to the maximum allowable dimensions for an image, it will only let me add one layer, which will be a show-stopper. Does anyone know of a way around this, where more layers can be added when the image size is at the maximum setting?

Assuming you are using a 3rd gen iPad or newer:

Reducing the size a few pixels to 3200 x 2400 gives you one more layer. Reducing to 3000 x 2000 gives you six layers (or was it 7)

That's really your only option if you want to keep using ArtStudio.
