I bought myself a new laptop and at the same time I bought my wife who is totally computer illiterate an iPad 2. You guessed right. It was a bit of a bribe. As I have never used any Apple product in my life this is a step learning curve as I have to show the wife how to use it and get it right so there are no issues. Help to questions will be valued.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.

Be aware that you will want to share that iPad and quarrels will arise. Trust me, many on here will agree. You might prove me wrong. Welcome anyway to our friendly family.

Hehehe. That has already started. I have the tactical advantage as she cannot print anything off or bluetooth photos without me as has to BT to the PC for me to use iTunes. Pity her phone although it connects will not send a photo via BT. Also iPad Bt does not recognise wireless printer on network or BT, but that could be me not settking it up correctly. She has taken to it like a duck to water and has already sent emails with photos to our daughter in South Africa! :D
