I can't seem to get into my camera. Roll to change my avatar. I don't even know why the last one went empty. I have gone to my privacy settings and can't find anywhere that gives me a choice to block or unblock my photo's
And while on the subject of photo's , how do I attach a photo to a post? As in a sailing photo. :-)

Try this for attaching a photo.....

First, in your reply, tap the advanced button.....

Then attach from photos.......

Then choose where you want to get the photo from, in this case, the camera roll.....

I'm a little more confused about your avatar, if you follow these steps (tap at each point in turn) you don't get access to your photos?

It is possible that the iPF app has been blocked from accessing the photos library. Apps generally ask for permission the first time you try to access the photos library, and then abide what you choose.

To manually grand or restrict access to the photos library for an app, go to Settings > Privacy > Photos, find the app and turn ON/OFF access.

I know that part but I am blocked from my photo's and. Can't find any privacy settings that address photo access ? :-(
Am going to follow that link and hopefully get help!:)
Thank you so much. Squib.

If the Privacy settings are not working you should check your Restriction settings. It is possible to lock down the privacy settings there. Settings > General > Restrictions; scroll down to the Privacy section and choose Photos.

If you have set (or set) a restriction passcode take special care not to lose it. The only way to recover from a forgotten restriction passcode is to restore the iPad.

The last time I tried to lock down privacy settings (I forget why, exactly) it did not work. However there have been some minor updates since then, so who knows.
