I am looking at files on my computer in Appdata/Roaming/AppleComputer/MobileSync/Backup. The dates there are older than my more recent backups. Would I need these same files if my computer were to crash and I got a new one, or can you backup from the Itunes library if you have backed that up on an external hard drive and install it on a new computer?
