Battery indicator stuck

I just updated to latest software for iPad 2. Been using it now for over an hour but the battery indicator is stuck at 100%. how to fix this?

Didn't you know the iPad 2 has an impressive battery

In case you believe the battery indicator is off, try rebooting by pressing the power button and then slide to power off.
