Do the magnets on the cover keep it closed if the case is turned upside down?

Do the magnets on the cover keep it open if the cover is flipped all the way open?

Is it comfortable to hold like a book in both landscape and portrait views?

Old thread but wondering if Mike or anyone else ended up buying this case? I just ordered one from Amazon- my mother has one and loves it. Any thoughts?
