Best Desktop Access App

People,
I have a wireless home network with Laptop & Desktop PC with a USB harddrive attached.
I am after an App that will let my Ipad access the USB harddrive to find recipes,music etc that are on there.
I have tried several freebies and they dont do what I want.
Anybody have any recomendations and my aplogies if this his been asked before.
All ideas welcome,

Look at FileBrowser. As long as the drive is shared on your PC, and your PC is on, FileBrowser should be able to see it.

You can use D-Link’s Xtreme N® Dual Band USB Adapter (DWA-160). Its the great app for Desktop Access. It can give you a better service.
