I believe I have found the best way to get books and read them... for free!
It's very simple. Just download the book you want (PDF is probably the best format) from any free torrents site.
Then, transfer it to your iPad via Dropbox.
Finally, read it on your iPad using iBooks, Stanza, Kindle or a similar app.
This way, you get to enjoy all the benefits of your iPad AND save your book file for posterity (in case you lose your iPad or these devices become obsolete in the future)
Yes, I know that piracy is wrong but books (both paper and electronic books) are outrageously expensive and most people can't afford them; moreover, there's nothing legally wrong in getting classic works this way, since they're PD.
What do you think? Any other tips?
