Black Screen

Hi

When i came to switch on the ipad this morning the screen was black. I can still hear beeping when I use the touch screen. I have reset it by holding the power and the home button down and then restarting. There are intermittent flashes on the screen when it goes through the process. In addition to restarting I have upgraded the firmware. I have also managed to get it into DFU mode. Through all of this it is recognised by itunes. I am presuming there is a problem with the screen but that it is not entirely bust considering that I am getting flashes of images.

Any ideas on a solution to fix this.

Agreed,your backlight may have failed.
