I get similar when I try to connect Nokia 2730 classic, they seem to find each other, but won't talk to each other. iPad Settings|General|Bluetooth|Devices says 'connected' but constantly buffers. Where would I find the phone on the iPad if and when a sucesful connection is established? On a PC it appears as a 'Device' in iTunes, but this is not the case on iPad 2. How would I then transfer photos between devices?
