Borrowing UK library books on iPad 1

I live in the UK. I have an original iPad running iOS 5.1.1 & want to borrow UK library books. Anyone know how I do this? Do I use OverDrive?

Thanks Colin. Now where do I get the version that works with iOS 5.1.1? The OverDrive site seems to only offer one that runs under iOS 6.
