So I bought a Nexus 7 because I used to have an iPad and gave it to my mother for her birthday and couldnt see spending so much on another one.
She LIVES on it, so money well spent, but I thought I just wanted it for digital magazines and such anyway, so, I'll get something cheaper.

Well, it's battery life is terrible and you have to really watch it to make sure programs arent left open to drain your battery etc.

So, now I want an iPad, but I need to be able to do iOS development on it in order for it to be worth it to me.

Is this possible?

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Apparently you can run X code on at least a Jailbroken iPad, don't know about a stock one, hopefully others may chime in here
