brightness editing in VDO software recommendation

Can anyone recommend an app ( pref free ) for editing videos created with ipad/iphone ?
In particular one which can allow perform brightness / contrast adjustments.
Videos shot indoors tend to be rather dark. I have to take them into some PC editing software which is not ideal.
