Browser problem

That's possible I assume...but unlikely to this case because if there were enough memory on the iPad, then the tabs would just be left in cache memory and wouldn't have to be reloaded...therefore meaning it doesn't matter how slow the connection is. As long as the tab was loaded in cache memory, it wouldn't have to reload so the connection wouldn't necessarily matter once the tabs were loaded initially.

OP, your New iPad only has one GB memory. They all do.

I use Chrome every day and it never refreshes the page changing tabs unless I force it to.
 
To be clear, I was referring to iPad 2. If your referring to iPad 3...it is verified to have 1GB of RAM.
