Calendar attachments, URL

In iCal, I 'attach' quite a bit of documents, and enter URLs. Then, when I use the iPad and Calendar, those items are seemingly not available for viewing, only my notes.

Is there a way to view the files - and URLs - mentioned above?

(IMHO, Apple has A LOT of work to do with their mobile apps, such as Pages, Mail, Calendar, etc)
