Can I watch interntional TV on my iPad?

Can I? if so, can I watch French TV other than the news fo France 24 that Zi already have? or can I simply watch TV? how? I've been trying to find ou with no result so far... thanks!

Also depends in which country you are currently based. Some apps will only work in certain countries - for example from within France itself.
