Can you connect an iPad to a wireless audio receiver?

Might be a naive question, but can one do this? A buddy of mine wants to be able to play songs from his iPad on a receiver in his house.

Theoretically bluetooth systems should work, but until it is tried, there are no promises. I am hoping to find a charger/speaker input that will work like they have for iPods.

Bluetooth works perfectly for me, both on a portable BT speaker, and my Sony Shelf System.

Sounds good, too.

I just bought this with the intent of connecting my iPod Touch or iPad to the receiver in my garage so I may control the music from my yard.

I've tested the functionality in my house and it works well, but I haven't connected to the garage receiver yet to verify range.

Only limitation is you can't control volume from Ipad...Now that sucks. I use a Bluetooth receiver made by Belkin that plugs in by RCA or 3.5m jack.

Hello,

I just bought the Sony Bluetooth device from B&H and have tried for an hour to get sound to play from my stereo via the iPad, but with no luck. The devices paired easily, and I connected the Bluethooth receiver to my new Harmon Kardon 3390 receiver with a stereo to RCA plug into the CD port.

Any thoughts on how you got it to work would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, were you ever able to get the Sony working? I noticed that you didn't get a reply when you asked for configuration help. I'd love to be able to get this set up working at my house between my iPad and stereo receiver. Thanks for any help.
