Good afternoon
So my partner and I have recently bought and iPad and I was wondering if you can have two iTunes accounts on the iPad so I have mine to sync with my iPhone and he has his to sync with his phone.
If anyone knows how to do this and if it is possible I would love the assistance
Thanks

Yes it is possible. I have two iTunes accounts on my iPad. A us one and a uk one. It just a bit awkward updating apps but that's the only real problem.

I have 3 you just enter the user name and password to switch or update You can only sync on account which really is not a. Issue both accounts will be backed up if that makes sense. The key is selecting what you want in the tabs in iTunes on the computer I have my iPhone 5 and my partner has hers both have different music and apps the iPad has what we both want I suggest Apple TV as it means also you can rent movies from both countries

You can have two iTunes accounts, as mentioned above, however that may not be the best solution for what you want.

If what you are after is to share your iTunes purchases, but have separate iCloud storage, backup, mail, calendars, ect. you only need two iCloud accounts. For a single user the iTunes and iCloud Apple ID are usually the same, but they do not have to be, nor is there any huge disadvantage, other than needing two ID's and knowing which one to enter where.

Basically your iTunes Apple ID would be used for all store purchases and updates. Your iCloud ID would be for all iCloud stuff.

Using your Apple ID for Apple services

Now, if you want to keep the ability to share apps, but each own your own apps and the ability to pay with your own accounts, then you'll need the two iTunes Apple IDs. Switching back and forth in the iStores is not a problem.

Switching back and forth for iCloud is a problem, but there isn't much reason to do so, unless you also try to share the iTunes Match service. You can't share that between two accounts, and there is a time limits on how often/quickly you can switch between iCloud accounts.

Dear DefBref, I would appreciate it if you explain how you do it without deleting apps from the other account. I had some apps installed and synced to my PC and I tried to install apps from another PC with a different itunes account and it wiped all my apps from the first account. Thanks.

You cannot sync with a different PC as it will delete the apps if you are not carefulall3 accounts are synced on my MacBook and also backed up.
