twerppoet iPad Fan Jul 26, 2011 #2 Nope. Can't be done. Instead, when I want a label spanning several cells I use a rectangle shape, size and place it the way I want and then add text inside it. Not a great solution, very fiddley, but it doesn't look too bad.
