Cancelling subscriptions

I have a subscription to the Guardian newspaper which I want to cancel but all I get is a greyish box in the middle of the screen when I try. Any ideas would be appreciated

Well this is a good forum, loads of users with knowledge, experience and information are in abundance......obviously even Apple don't bother with it. So I am still stuck with a flaky app which I can't cancel.
