Can't play movies

One reason I wanted an iPad was so that I could take it on trips and watch movies. I'm not able to watch movies from Netflix or any other software without the constant buffering. I first thought it was my wireless speed. However, I can't watch movies uninterrupted using the satellite connection that I purchase for 25.00 a month. Does anyone have a solution or suggestion for me. I've purchased several programs from the ap store with no luck. I would appreciate any advise. Thanks so much...

But if you download movies from iTunes can you watch those OK? How would you ever be able to watch Netflix on a trip? Do you have access to a satellite data network? If so, what data rate do you get? I'd be surprised if the data rate was high enough to support streaming of movies.
