Charging issues

Since I upgraded to ios5 (First iPad) it is taking forever to charge. Was like this previously. Currently it has been charging for 8-10 hrs and only went from 29 to 54%. I turned off all location services, but that hasn't seemed to help yet. Any ideas? Thanks.

Sorry, but I have to ask the dumb question: Are you trying to charge via your computer? Because, while the iPad does charge that way, it's a tiny, tiny trickle ... which can take forever.

The best way to charge is via the official Apple iPad charger (and iPad cord!) via the wall socket.

If you ARE charging via the wall - are you using the proper iPad charger and cord? Lots of folk have reported issues if they are not using both the charger and the cable for the iPad.

Yeah, when I first got my pad, I noticed that it took much longer to charge from my laptop. I now always charge from a socket with official plug and cable
