Hi IPad - Apps

In IE or in FF there is cache setting available for "Check for Newer Versions of Web Pages" so if you set it automatically then it will automatically update browser cache memory.

IS there anything like that same settings available in ipad safari browser ?? if not available then what is the default behaviour of browser cache ? how it work in ipad safari ?

In IE there are 4 options available for settings

Every visit to the page

Every time you start Internet Explorer

Automatically

Never

[h=1]so what is default in ipad safari ??[/h]
Thanks lot in adv.

Welcome to the forum! There are a lot of great people here willing to lend a hand anytime. Often using the Advanced Search box (at the top of every page) will lead you to the answers you're looking for. If not, feel free to post a question in the appropriate area.

With respect to your question, the default for Safari on the iPad is to check every visit (or in IE terms, automatically). That is if you open a website, subsequently leave it for another and then go back to it (locate it and tap on it in the grid view) it will reload. If you simply move forward and backward within the website the page does not refresh.

That being said you can always clear Safari's cache. Go to Settings > Safari (left-hand menu) > Clear Cache.

Hope that helps, welcome again and enjoy!
