conecting ipad2 to iphone for internet conection

Thanks David yea I see now I already pay 25 for 2gb for non tethering and for 25 more I get 2 gb more and the "right" to tether. Probably belongs in another thread but any thoughts on whether a VPN between ipone 4 and iPad masks tethering or are we even supposed to discuss such things? Lol
