Have been trying to connect an ipad to a wi fi network for someone, there are two networks in the house (its big, its a carehome) it connects to one of them without issue but the other one won't work for some reason. I checked the network with someone elses ipad and it worked fine, if anyone knows anything about this that would be fantastic thanks

Try resetting the router and see if that works for you.

Hi Brianmaiden,

Sometimes my iPad has trouble connecting to a wifi network. It takes a little extra time to really get and attach to the IP address. A few of the times it takes as long as fifteen minutes. Sometimes I can see the IP address in the wifi section many minutes before the connection signal bars show up. Without the signal bars you cannot do anything. Try connecting to the wifi and wait about five minutes. Don't let the iPad go to sleep. After the five minutes check if there is an IP address assigned to the iPad. If not check again in about five minutes. It really shouldn't take more than five or ten minutes.
