Constantly checking for mail

Hi all,

New to this forum.

Had my 32g wi fi only version for several weeks now. All seemed fine until a week ago when, having worked previously, the pad is constantly 'checking for mail' and not receiving any. I seem to be able to send though. My account details have not been changed and the lap top is picking everything up fine.
Any ideas please.

Hi there - I put an idea in response to your other post - basically I suggested completely shutting the iPad down (rather than the usual putting it to sleep) and then turning it on again. Most Forum members agree that this solves a whole range of unexplained behaviour with the iPad. I'm sure you know how to do this but, if not, I've put some details in response your other post.
