Couple of questions about FaceTime

1. FaceTime can ONLY be used through WiFi and NOT through 3G - am I correct?

2. Do both devices need to be connected to WiFi to make a call. Can an iPad/iPhone thats connected to WiFi call another one that is NOT connected to WiFi at that time?

Both devices must be on wifi to use FaceTime. A workaround is to use Skype which will work on 3G.
