Deleting email from both iPhone and iPad

Hi all

Just found this site and up to now liking that most speak in plain English and not in techy jargon that goes right over my head!

I'm getting very frustrated with my hotmail. It is on both my iPhone and iPad and though I thought it had been set up where if I delete from one it goes from the other, no it hasn't! I'm getting very fed up now with having to do it all twice.

Is there a way I can sync it so I can delete from both devices at once?
