If you proceed to attach a photo from your collection, it will show up as a thumbnail with the option to insert full size. Simply upload the thumbnail. Keep in mind, though, that it will be harder for readers to see it properly as a thumbnail.I’ve been searching for a toool to reduce the size of a photo to post on a platform.
Thanks!

Hello Ron - please provide more information - assume you are using an iPad (and/or iPhone) - what model and what iPadOS is installed; and assume you're want to upload to a website.I’ve been searching for a toool to reduce the size of a photo to post on a platform.
Thanks!

Hey TP - the Shortcuts route is well described in my link given above although I've not given it a try yet - maybe time to get into that app! BTW, the apps I have on my iPad will reduce image size easily but not that convenient if often needed. DaveMost photos will upload to this site without issue. Every once in a while I'll run into one that is rejected for being too large.
There are a few photo editing apps that will let your resize an image. I can't recommend any. Haven't used one in a long while. Instead I use a Shortcut that I made. It reduces the pixel size of a photo by about ⅔, thens saves it in the Recents folder.
I usually use it when editing after taking a screenshot, or in the Photos app.
Here is the link. You can modify to different sizes if you like. I chose .66 because much smaller and some of the text in screenshots starts to get fuzzy.
