Dictation

I bought an iPad2 32 wifi in Feb this year and I notice now I compare it with the latest iPad it doesn't have a dictation capability, or am I doing something wrong?

No, the ipad 2 does not have dictation capability but you can purchase third party apps, such as dragon dictation, which work quite well.
