What's new

does any one still have a ipad 1?

I just sold an iPad 1 that still worked like new. Now I am using and iPad 2 32GB and 16 GB, both working also like new.
I wish I had iPad 1 again. I can not view iPad 4 on TV. I have the adapters but these do not work. I wish apple gad nave yes lightening to VGA cable not this adapter that does not work. On iPad 1 I just connect ted the video out line to the iPads charging port and I was at least able to see You Tube videos on TV.

Sent from my IPAD 1st generation. WIFI only. 64GB

Just like mine. Yep. iPad 1, Wi-Fi only.

Bought fist day it came out

I have iPad 1 64G wifi only. Expanded storage with a kingston 128G wi-Drive. I use it on my flat screen TV in the dojo to teach martial arts with mp4 and m4v formats. Can use Youtube videos on tv. Connect via hdmi cable thru dongle attachment.

Surfing internet crashes a lot and email is dog slow. I will not upgrade for years to come. It does what I need.

Can't skype but who cares, I do that on iPhone if need be.

Goodreader excellent program and iSpreadsheet.

iPad 1 is my everything. Still a good little machine.

Too bad we can't upgrade ram......that would do a lot for my usage.

Your last sentence is exactly how my sister feels. Her Safari also crashes a lot, too. But, for a quick Google, it's still a great thing. She also has it running Pandora through her home stereo system.

She's still quite pleased with it ... and it's 3 1/2 years old (!).

Gives me hope for the longevity of my iPad Air. :)

iTunes handles audiobooks, not iBooks
Actually, it does both. If you select a book in iTunes, it will redirect to the iBooks store to complete the purchase. Here's a screenshot from iTunes on my iPad, note the presence of audio books and ebooks.

I've never noticed that before. Thanks! :)
