I was putting my box away today and I noticed that yep, just says "iPad" on it.

Back of the iPad 2 also just has "iPad" written on it.

I can't remember if it says iPad 2 near the serial/barcode...

But I did find it funny that they're not identifying it as a "2" anywhere.

Well, there is always the camera on the back that isn't on the 1st Gen iPad. Showing that would provide a good indicator that what you have is an iPad2. If you get a white one, that will help too

Well until the whole camera theory came along, what happens when you want to sell it. Although now the camera theory came along so it will be easier to sell as an iPad 2 now.
