If you are using an apple device, then close the game and double click the round botton with a square on the phone or
pad. When the Preppers appears at the bottom of the screen, press the minus sign. Then hit the round/square button again again. Reopen the game. It should reload. I do this regularly when I notice the game is slowing down.
