Double tap on home button is disabled

I can still use single tap. I just used it. How did I disabled this. I can not close out the background apps, or use any double tap actions

Have you tried restarting your iPad? Press and hold both the power and home buttons until the Apple logo appears, then release both buttons and wait for the iPad to restart.

Does the four finger up swipe on the screen work? This has the same result as double clicking the home button.

To use this feature, go to Settings>General>Multitasking Gestures and make sure the switch is set to on.

how... in-cydias. :)

At least you know that there's nothing wrong with the iPad. A hardware problem could have been expensive to fix. Thanks for letting us know.

@twerppoet it was a cydia tweak that locks your ios device using gestures. I made a mistake and enable the tweak to lock my home button instead of home page[emoji16] SNAFU

Sorry. I understood that. I was trying to be punny. In-cydias would be pronounced (as far as I can tell) as insidious.
