Download App Opposed to Open

I purchased an app which downloaded to my home screen. It has since disappeared and all I can do now is open. It doesn't give me the option to download. Is there anything I can do?

If the app is hidden in a folder, use Spotlight Search to find it. You'll get the name of the folder next to the app:

If that doesn't help:
Go to Settings - General - Storage & iCloud Usage - Storage - Manage Storage. You should find the app there. Tap the app and delete it. That done, go to Purchased in your App Store app and download it again.
