download iphone app and it shows up on ipad mini aswell

Hi All

may i say thanks inadvance

I was downloading a app today via wireless network and as it compleated on my iphone and wife was using her ipad mini she said how has that app
appered on my ipad if i haven't downloaded it ??????

does anyone know the answer !!

If you are using the same Apple ID and have automatic downloads turned on in settings, iTunes and App Stores, then apps, music and books will automatically download to all iDevices. I have Apps turned off in automatic downloads as I do not want all apps on each device.
