I've gotten a sun dragon as a result of the sonic & storm combo, but so far it's the only rare one I have.

I do like the fact that we aren't guaranteed to get certain dragons when breeding. What would be the hook then? We would all have every dragon and get bored within the first week.

Water and fire make an air dragon. I got a rainbow dragon from a flower and a mountain on the first try.

wow that's impressive! Well I m happy for yu to know that's it works and that you got one. I wonder if this same method could work for the moon and sun, I bet it could but it would take a while to find the right combinations plus you have to know what specifically makes that Dagon.

I was thinking the same thing on the Sun and Moon. Yeh, I'm not exactly sure what makes them. Will maybe work on it soon when I get a little time to think about it. Thanks!

He probably is. I know I am. That's what a bunch of people are doing. I have every dragon and literally can't fit anything on my islands. DV seriously needs more dragons and an update.

I know you guys are. They really need to do something. I still need the Sun and Moon but I think I'm going to work on another Rainbow for now. I kept a Seaweed and Firefly in the nursery from these 2 that I used to get the Rainbow. I think I'm going to keep one, level it up and then breed again to get the other and see if it makes the odds better. Worth a try and now that I think about it I don't want to be in such a hurry to get the 2 Idon't have cause then I'll have nothing to do

That maybe true but they had better think that when people get to the point like Brooklyn and Shavers...well they aren't gonna make much because there is jothing for them to do anymore...

Yeah I actually am I just collect gold and trade gems with all of u until they give us something new, and of course talk with all of u breeders about anything u all want. Hey so it seems that gene thing is working huh, sounds pretty interesting. Let me know how that's going, Breed on!!!

Yep. That's what I figured. I was surprised it worked but at the same time I wasn't. Like I posted in another post I'm going to try to take it a step further...why not...I'll keep everyone posted. I just wish I had another breeding cave.

Welcome and congrats! I used Air and Earth. Problem is I can't remember if I used hybrid Earth. Wish I would of wrote all my combos down.

True, but if the users get bored/frustrated and stop playing, that's not good business anyway. Even if I don't buy gems, if I tell 10 people how awesome the game is, chances at least a couple of *them* will buy gems. If I say the game isn't worth it, they won't play at all. Negative word of mouth spreads way faster than positive.... *lol*.

I still like the game, I am just frustrated bc I can't get a SINGLE rare dragon....

Kath...you could try the gene theory that I did. I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a Rainbow. I would only try it though when you have been trying something else for awhile in my opinion anyways. Reason being I tried a few weeks ago when I had been breeding Seaweed and Firefly over and over and over. Well for the first step I must have tried 30 or more times. I couldn't get that simple Firefly for nothing. I then moved on to Sun and Moon. Once frustrated with that I decided to go back and try again. Getting my Seaweed and Firefly up to level 10's and 7 elements in each went rather quickly. I think it was a day and a half total and only 3 times during that did I get what I did not want. They were also short breeding when they were wrong...3 hrs or less. Hope this helps some and good luck! I hope you get something soon.

I guess it's all just luck and nothing else. Some combos get more rates simply because they are tried more than others

Did you try it after trying numerous times with Seaweed and Firefly? I had to give it time and try something else for awhile and then try the gene thing again. That's when it worked for me. I'm gonna keep testing it though. The only reason I even tried it was because it made sense. I figured all the colors of the Rainbow could justify all the elements. The one that came up with the theory contacted backflip but they didn't confirm or deny. It's hard to tell really if it works or not but I'm happy I tried because I finally got something out of it. More than likely none of it's for sure but I can always have hope. ;o)

It's also wise to keep your potential income base ie us users happy. There is a fine line between 'keeping them wanting' and letting them get frustrated and disgusted. It's bad to not take care of your income base.
