Hello, I am new and finally figured out how to post.
I have learned so much from everyone in the last 6 weeks.
Today I read a post asking those who were just reading to join in, so here I am!
I breed Shih Tzu dogs. So I love breeding dragons!
I am not a gamer, but Dragonvale is different. I am totally into this game.
It makes my days fun.

Stuff that! I actually just made a limited dragon island still redoing the others. Also have my farming island with my forest walk that leads to the fountain of youth which is protected by a LYD

Okay, I just had something very interesting. I moved my air habitat to my Panlong Island to check out the math with boosts. And when I went to move it back, I couldn't. I shrub or rock or something had sprouted up where it was and I couldn't replace it. Isla Verde is very overgrown with natural growth, of course, but has anyone else seen something like this?

EDIT: And gorram it I just cleared a big tree in front of the Air Habitat without meaning to. I guess it won't actually disappear until I click on the XP button, but sheesh!

Yep! I moved my colosseum to another island anf decided to put it back. It had a path border around it on the original island when i went to put it back it wouldnt fit!! Got so cranky!!

I have been reading this thread for a couple of months and I think it is time I join it. Needless to say I am DV addict - my partner is threatening to throw my IPad out of the window. Some of you are in my friends list and I have been exchanging gems. Thanks to all of you for your tips on the best combo. I usually check the thread for best combo when new dragons are released. I managed to get a clover with flower 7 and moss 14 (Poppy thank for the tip) but the 2nd is eluding me. The LYD was a nightmare - I managed number 2 only after using about 300 gems on speeding up breedings (which of course involved a lot of 48 hours- after chasing my second rainbow for months the fight agains time for the LYD generated 2 rainbow, I moon and 1 sun- just when I needed my hatchery clear). Thanks also for all wonderful ideas on decorating the islands. It is interesting to see how important to have nice islands has become for the game veterans. I just redecorated mine after getting my final island and I am very proud of my breeding island, my fire and moon island (very serene)' and my colosseum island. No sure about the earth island- too cluttered- and the water island - lack of symmetry perhaps. Poppy and Troutfisher your islands are my favourite. The decoration is also what I like about this game you can change them any time.
All my shrines are silver and I am not sure I care very much to get them gold- just to fill the time between updates.
So new updates- what I think we need is not just some new limited dragons (they are fun, but not enough to keep one busy for long) but new proper habitats which can hold 3/4dragons each. A couple of ideas:
A sky habitat- it could have the sky dragon of course (new element), a cloud dragon (sky/ air), a nova dragon (sky/fire) a star dragon (sky/lighting);
An underground habitat- the dragons could be underground- the opening like the HB, but inside like an habitat- it could have the underground dragon ( new element), the shadow dragon (underground/hearth) the ghost dragon (underground/air), the Flame dragon (underground/fire).
Of course the possibility are endless.

Awwww my youngest is 20 Months so i know they are hard to please at that age they just want to run around, and it's very busy days at Disney ,when we got back my hubby said bloody hell I need another holiday to get over that lol, your on the go nearly all day because they wanna go on everything NOW ,and queuing it's all madness but a whole lot of fun too , have a nice rest now,sit down and work on your clover ,sending you luck x x x

She wa actually really good for the most part. I couldn't believe it. She sat in her stroller or I would hold her when we stopped and she would just do the princess wave to all the princesses etc lol But yeh, they can be a handful and I did not want to take my eyes off her. Your hubby is sooooo right! You do need another holiday to get over that! Lmao

Oh, that darn clover! Ugh! Lol. Sometime early this morning I think 5:30 AM I woke up to collect coins and both my caves were finished so I started them again to get 12 hrs in one cave and 14 in the other. Grrr...guess my getting a new one quick was once lived and I am back to my normal ways.

Hey congrats!! I think I've had 300 tries going for my 2nd sandie - I think they're the hardest one to get! Well they have been for me and you too obviously!!

Did you try moss and air? Think that's what I used for both.

I can relate . . . we were there Dec 26, 1999 - Jan 2, 2000 . . . with 16 member of our family . . . What a Zoo!

Yep...it is a zoo! A nightmare! Lol. Living only a 3 hr drive away and getting Florida rates or annual passes well....we go there too much and it gets old after awhile. It will be nice though when they get the new "fantasyland" done....it will be something new for us and that should make it more enjoyable again except for the crowds.

Hey Frenzzz, is there any duration limit for the new Clover dragon? If yes, how long will it be available before it vanishes from the market?

I would think it would be here for a few days to a week after the 17th...isn't that what they normally do after a limited holiday dragon is released? I hope so because I am having no luck.

Finally! After what feels like 300 tries, and 300 muds later I finally got my FIRST sandstorm! Cant say im looking forward to trying for my second
Just a bluefire to go before I have the whole set *sigh*

Yay! Congrats! I don't know if it will work for you but what finally got my 2nd was level 10 air and level 4 mud in that order. Got it try number 2. :thumbs:
