So what are you doing then? I'm asking because slowly working towards gold shrines is all that's left for me at the moment. It's a bit boring and I know I could do it faster if I maximized my coin production for example by taking more panlongs out of the HC and sticking the clover family in. But then what?

I'm stuck at level 30 with all of the gold shrines. Not much to Do once you have two of a new dragon - just collecting gold coins. But I'm really having fun with grandson Jack's park. It's at level 24 so there's a lot of mountain left to climb. I did strike out on my experiment to be like Fletch and do it with no gems, but I sat a budget of $1.99 a day and I'm sticking to that. Stiil working on silver shrines (agree with a previous post that the original shrines are more attractive than the silvers). But we do have three of each dragon, two adults and a baby. Slowly building the CGCF and have a nice Cold habitat with Frosties and Blues. And we have a lot of rares that we got trying to get a second Moon. This is the second time for me that the second Moon has been the most difficult thing to get.

Looking forward to a major update with higher levels though. I hope it happens before I'm back in the office.

I hear you! Weird to complain about rainbows, it just feels wrong. I usually breed panlongs overnight for 12 hours and then bite the bullet and speed up the remaining 24. Hopefully we get more habitats soon, it isn't nice to store these guys in the HC I just can't bring myself to demolish more of my other habitats.

I understand that. I want to keep at least one of all habitats. I'd like to get to gold shrines eventually but no rush as I don't have constant wifi when working so can't do the air and sandie thing. It's kinda nice to relax without pressure of lyd, clover, and rares to worry about.
No doubt they'll give us something new soon.

Yes!

My wife and I married when we were very young, and our two sons showed up shortly thereafter. So we always anticipated being that we would be young grandparents. It was not to be. There was the inevitable Stupid Island stretch and they got great educations. They finally got married to wonderful women (their wives were best friends from the age of eight growing up on the right coast). Still no grandkids in sight.

Finally, I took them aside and told them if they didn't produce I would just go ahead and adopt grandkids. They said you can't do that and I replied that I had made special arrangements - they would be my grandkids but they would live with them. I might have scared them because I can be unpredictable at times. In any event, we now have five of them. These are the good old days for my wife and I.

Well, the second clover is proving to be an excercise in patience! I thought the first one was hard because it took me about 6 tries to get it, with the usual 10, 12 and 14 hours mistakes in between. But on the second one I've tried more than ten times and still nothing. I'm aware of the theory that BF somehow "lowers" the success rate in the middle of a rare-dragon-period, but I'd like to ask anyway: those who go for a second rare ragon (be it Love, LYD, Clover or Whatever) do you insist on the same combo that gave you your first dragon, or do you find it more succesful to try a different combo? Thanks in advance. Cheers.

I don't think it matters as sometime its good to have a change of pace.

Love cold has been giving frosts a lot lately and I assume a blue could come from the same and it gives suns moons and rainbows too so it's an all rounder lol x x x

We have been trying for quite some time to get a rainbow dragon but keep getting moon dragons. What are some left right combos to get the rainbow if someone could help please!!!

I also had problems with the rainbow. I tried seaweed and firefly hundreds of time without success. I finally got my first with reindeer and sonic. It worked 2nd try. Give it a go.

I started off trying to get plant and fire to gold.. I left the other 5 shrine alone... But it just seemed like I was never going to get there.. So then I started taking them all to silver... I have 4 left to breed for lightning and cold. And 6 for water. I have a few panlongs at lv15. So after I get these three to silver I will start back on the hunt for gold... But I am also stocking up on food.. Over 200,000 right now.. And I have saved about 80,000,000 in dc... So that way when I take the big step to gold I have a little to work with... And I also have the HC full of air and sandstorms for quick cash.... Slow but steady....
