So new iOS 5.1 is out but my computer broke a while ago so I have been relying on wall adapters and stuff. I know when you update it sets back to factory settings then restores but will it automatically restore all memory and stuff without computer!!??

I'm not even sure you can update your device without a computer ...

Pumpermelons. 15000 coins for 25000 XP. 0.6 coins per XP 18.75 coins per food. Takes 6 hours for 800 food though, so it's the kind of thing you have growing if you can't check your DV that regularly.

Blushrooms are almost as good, 5000 coins for 7500 XP 0.66 coins per XP and 16.66 coins per food. And it only takes 2 hours for 300 food. I use this during the day and the Pumpermelons overnight.

Once I've got some coin to spend I buy the big/fast food that are very expensive, but outrageously fast. 10 000 food in a minute.

Hey all, I currently am stumped as to what I should do. Right now I have 2 suns 2 moons 4 rainbows 2 panlongs. So I see no reason to try and breed more rares by using random combinations. I'm currently trying to get a frost fire and blue fire but that should be no problem. I was wondering if anyone could tell me a good combination to get sandstorm as well as to what you think I should do next. I was thinking of upgrading my shrines but I never really thought about how to go about doing it so if someone could help me then I would appreciate. Like knowing which dragon to breed and feed to lvl 10 to finish my shrines the fastest or so on. And what I should do to make money, I know this is a lot to ask but that's why it's a forum right hahahahha. Anyways thanks for who can reply to this.

If you would like to supply me with the readings from your shrines of how many Level 10 dragons you have of each element, I'll tailor a breeding program specifically for your circumstances in order to get all your shrines to Silver with the least number of dragons or quickest breeding time. Done this for a couple of people now. I will have to start getting references from these people ...

And you should start by making sure you have the Hibernation Cave upgraded twice to hold 100 dragons.

I have to mildly disagree with you partner. That's a pretty certain statement and I don't think that there is firm empirical evidence to back it up. There's no firm empirical evidence to back up the opposite either, but there are a lot of success stories involving level 4 muds for (I think it was the LYD) and the level 7 thing for Clovers. No hard evidence on either side so it probably doesn't hurt to continue to experiment. Unless you know something I've missed, which is entirely possible.

Oh I love a good disagreement. It's one of my favourite forms of conversation. I don't know about the LYD thing, and it's obviously impossible to test for it now, but regarding Clover I'll quote from forum attached to the dragonvale wiki:

After all this i wanted to check if there are other things that influence breeding probabilities. I put 7 Sham-Rocks and 7 Clover Cottages around my Breeding Cave and tried with a Lvl 7 Flower and a Lvl 7 Moss.

100 tries, results:

20x Tree
26x Poison
16x Flower
15x Moss
15x Lava
8x Clover

And total breeding tries:

Flower and Moss: 150 tries, 13 Clover
Plant and Moss: 100 tries, 6 Clover
Clover and Moss: 50 tries, 4 Clover
Tree and Moss: 100 tries, 8 Clover
Swamp and Moss: 100 tries, 5 Clover

Regarding the successful pairings we have a total of 500 tries with 36 Clovers which is a 7.2% rate.

So in that instance there is no real difference between breeding with Level 7 dragons and breeding with any level dragons.

I will add that the data there has been collected from a number of people at the Wiki, but it's obvious they didn't run 500 breeding pairs with this amount of down time with access to gems, and a lot of them. The kids there run two accounts, their real account where they play the game proper , and a second one which has been tweaked so they can trial breeding pairs etc to collect this information in a short amount of time. They're not JB'd as such, but have interrupted the code from the BFS server to give them the assets they need to collect this useful data which they then share with everyone.

Luckily, I take my iPad to work so I can check my DV when I get a free sec so they didn't steal that. My mini Panlong gold factory needs some attention every hour or so! They did get my Sony laptop, my iPod, and jewelry though. Grumble grumble. They robbed another house in my neighborhood and slit the cats throats so I'm just thanking god they didn't do anything to my dogs!

Finally bred a clover! Wow, I was starting to get nervous that I was never going to get one. Level 7 moss with level 10 flower. Not sure that I want to try for a second one or not; the first one took so long to get!

Not sure where you are in the game, but there might be a time in the future where you might want a 7 hour turn around time to make plant/earth dragons.

It should. If it doesn't then I guess you will have to start from scratch

That is so horrible.... We had ours broken into a couple years ago by some kids in the area... My black lab (rockit the sweetest puppy u will ever meet) was about 6 months old so he was in his crate. They messed up everything ripped paintings. Sofas.. About 20,000$ plus in damage not to mention what they stole... Well my hubby is a cop so they were right on it... Now rockit was so freaked out that he twisted his cage trying to get out... The next day I was taking him for a walk and he went after this kid on the street.. (he would never hurt a fly) I have the leash in my hand bc he always stays with me... So he chased this kid down the street... I finally caught up to them and the kid is crying get this dog away from me. I snap the leash on him and come to find out it was one of the kids that broke in... He flipped in the other two.. So now they are all three in jail and rockit (my best buddy) has a 200+ lbs buddy names solo (mastiff) and a bunch of treats everyday... Let them try that **** again!!!!!!!
