I have only purchased the necessary dragons in the beginning. I have to say that when I first started playing, I didn't realize the others could be breed, until I went searching for tips and tricks, and found this wonderfully helpful forum!

No, they only affect earnings.

"Reply with Quote" is at the bottom right of the posts in the web browser. If you're using the app clicking on the post will give the option "Quote".

Yeah, even speeding things up it takes about 15 minutes to breed and hatch 50 Dragons. I bred 1000 combinations of Air + Mud in NBC and EBI to see if different levels or parent order affect success rate of Sandstorms (they didn't). That's a few hours before breakfast, after dinner and during lunch time.

I've also burned through about 18 000 gems in the last week.

Right...and I would get obsessed trying to get accurate numbers. I can see it now. Lmao Yikes...yep...it's time consuming as it is. I have to decide daily...forum or should I work on the looks of my islands...the forum always wins out but I still don't get to answer or chat as much as I'd like. Unfortunately it's "likes" and a lot of quick reading. I probably miss a good part of it going so fast. I think there are 30+ pages for me to catch up on ths morning. Nice to know on the levels...I had a feling it was like that. Now watch...BFS Is gonna change up the rules on everything....

Thanks end of the week they say so will just have to wait it out I'm afraid. I really take my hat of to every one playing dv on their iPhone and even being active on this thread, I'm finding it very awkward being spoilt and used to doing it all from my pad.

I totally agree. I've tried the phone when I'm out and about. Best for me just to collect cash and start a breeding or food and leave it at that. But to decorate the islands etc. I would bet I wouldn't be playing it if I didn't have a iPad....but then again I really don't play anything on my phone...it is just too small. Hope you get it back at the end of the week then. :thumbs:

Thought it was about time I joined in, have been reading 'lurking' for a while, enjoying all the posts and you guys all seem really nice, friendly and helpful, never joined a forum before so was a little apprehensive.

Only been playing DV for about 8 weeks, so a relative newbie, but really enjoying it and I must admit the game is
completely addictive, don't have a lot of the rares but having fun trying to get them and the info on here has been
extremely helpful. So thanks to all.

Well yes and no. Knowing you have a 7% chance of getting the Clover Dragon doesn't take away the thrill of the chase and the elation of success. With a new class of Dragon and all the normal combinations that will exist most of them will be run of the mill that we won't need to worry about. But there are bound to be some that are hard. It's bound to have an opposite and breeding those are always tricky. Knowing the combinations that will help the other players will be a useful thing.

I do like that they help exists in 250's thread ... is it too in your face by having some info in my signature? Think I should remove that for the people that don't want to know?

I have to agree here...I know the reason I came upon this forum was looking for answers. I would rather know the combinations than miss out on a dragon. It would also cost me a fortune if I kept using the wrong combos. I also always look to wiki and the wiki forum. Once we know we can help those that are asking for the combos. With that said I'm all for the testing and like I said if I had time I would help out the wiki forum myself with testing.

I forgot earlier too but I wanted to show you guys this wonderful sight that my internet being down caused , I have never seen it before and I doubt I'll see it again ........on the downside I don't even want to think about how much I lost from my mega swarm of pans, my islands one and three have been taken over completely by pans there an epidemic going on there ppl all the park staff have left for fear of being replaced by a pan themselves seeing as all my other dragons have LMAO x x x

Oh my, that is a LOT of gems! My hubby would take my iPad from me if I bought gems like that. Hell, he prolly take all access of $$ from me too! LMAO!

The last DV update doesn't seem to be long waiting..
But now, it feels as though i am waiting for few months since the last update..
Hope the update is brilliant and Rainbow hunt still ON

I can't believe you haven't got that darn rainbow yet. This is just not right. I hope you get it before the update. :thumbs:
