Eventually I bought my first of these as I just couldn't get it. Hot the second reasonably soon after while trying for something else. Grrrrr lol

I hope that BFS has a surprise in addition to the new metal habitat dragons. The ones listed seem really cut and dried to breed: buy the Metal; breed the Rust with Metal/Water; breed the Mine with Metal/Cold; breed the Iron with Metal/Earth; etc. I'm really hoping for a hit and miss multi-element dragon.

So when are they suppose to come out

Hello everyone!!

It's been a long time since I've posted on here, I try to read the forum everyday, but man you guys have been chatty lately. Congrats on everyone on their DV successes !!

Segbert that's awesome about your son and all the college acceptance. Shellie I may have missed an update, but how is your dad doing?

Welcome to all the newcomers. This is a great forum.

I've just been busy saving money, I'm excited about the new update.

Poppy I love watching little Jack's island, every time I visit the islands they make me smile.

I hope to be around more now.

Happy Breeding!
Brandy

Thank you Brandy. Great photo! You look so young for having 5 kids?

Just saw the pictures of the new dragons, i find them very very uggly. But am not astonished, the designers of the latest ones (clover is ok) like the Love one were already showing bad taste. My 2 pence.

I agree with Viviane. I don't care for this series at all. But like a good little addict, I'm sure that I will have all of them.

I'm not overly impressed either, but out of the choices we have I like chrome and rusty the best. Gotta look at something positively. ;)

April, I did get your PM, and I see you've had advice from the maestro on maximising your earnings. Going to leave Shrine advice until the new update, because there are supposed to be some other new dragons including a Plant/Cold (which will give you the challenge you're looking for, Poppy) and a Plant/Lightning which will help, not to mention that there will be an 8th Shrine to calculate for.

For the moment my advice is put 2 Panlongs in one of your breeding caves about 6 or 7 of an evening, because you only lose out on 1 day of coin collection and you get to wake up to a shiny new egg the day after next. Breed air/sandstorms for the rest of that day and pop two more Panlongs in the cave at about 6 or 7 the next evening. Leveling up your Panlongs will knock off 4 shrines at once, but don't be too worried about
leveling them up past 10 for the moment, just start stockpiling them in our Earth habitats for earnings. Oh, and I'm not sure it was mentioned, but have your Fire and Water Boosts on your Panlong Island BUT NOT YOUR EARTH BOOST. Move your earth boost to the island with the least Air dragons.

Use the other cave to breed air/sandstorms continuously for cash. 2 hour turn around, so you'll be ready to jump into Metal Dragon breeding when it's released.

I have indeed. Fire + Cold Hybrid (use storm if you don't mind another Sun or Moon, otherwise Ice ... hmmm, wonder if you'll get the occasional Air with that choice ...) 6.33% in the NBC and 10.33% in the EBI after 150 attempts in each.

Frostfire is the opposite, so Cold + Fire Hybrid.

I went to school at UCSB on an academic scholarship. It was a very nice time of my life. I supported the family by working as a California State Park Ranger at the beach parks north of Santa Barbara.

My younger son Adam was born there. In those days you didn't know whether it was a girl or a boy. One day at the beach my wife and I thought of a way to find out. In the area where the waves washed over the sand we used a stick and scratched out "Adam" and "Allison" in the sand. When the waves washed away Adam first we knew that we were going to have a boy. The ocean had spoken.

Edit: And congratulations to your son! There are worse choices than UCSB - I had some truly amazing professors there. A Physics class there was the most rigorous mental exercise I've ever faced. At one point the entire class complained to the professor, a freshly minted MIT PhD, that the class was way too hard. His response? "I'm not going down to your level. You will have to come up to mine." Brutal class.

Well I hope Jake won't be doing an ocean experiment for at least 4 years. Thank you. I would be happy if he decided to go to UCSB, its just couple of hours away. We are so excited for him. He applied to 11 colleges. By April 1st we will have to sit down and plan which campuses to visit.

I think you can only see if you are friends on facebook. Like I could only see Tiffany and Michelin since I am friends with them on there...but I could be wrong. I'm not a facebook pro lol. I don't post on there a heck of a lot either....I'm too busy on here! Haha

Edit: BTW Congrats to your son and you! That is awesome news Shirley! You must be so proud!

We are and thank you Shellie. I am so happy your dad is getting stronger. Hopefully this time will pass quickly and get him home.

Edit : this post was 3 minutes too late. I am so sorry Shellee for your lost. Big hugs.

One more UCSB story...

There's an estuary between the Student Union and the beach. I was in the SU one day with my older son John, who was three at the time. We walked out on the back deck and on an otherwise clear and sunny day there was a patch of fog over the estuary. John-John (that's what we called him then) looked at it intently for a moment then looked up at me and said, "So that's where the fog lives.".
