If the rainbow is totally random, it must be the absolutely best thing to do, to breed two planta, because they have the shortest breeding time so you can make more eggs in short time.

I have this problem, I just force kill the app by holding down the sleep/power button until the option to slide to turn off the device shows then hold down the home button until you are taken back to your home screen, restart the app and your new friends should be there. I have to do this daily to send gifts as well

U dont have to power off ur device. Simply shut the program down by double clicking the home key. Then hold down the apps that appear at the bottom of ur screen til they shake. Then press the X above dragonvale. (dont worry. This wont delete it, simply shut it down). Then open gamecentre and choose games and press play in dragonvale. All ur new friends should appear on ur list

I am new to Dragonvale and have a few questions if someone would be willing to help please. First, is there a way to transfer your game to a new device? Second, how do you add someone as a friend on Dragonvale? I have 2 friends in Game Center with Dragonvale, but one is not on my friend list in Dragonvale. I have no clue how the other one got on my list to reproduce the results with my 2nd friend. Thank you very much for any help.

I added the app to my iPod and because of game center it hooked right up with same game on both devises. I don't think you will have a problem. Just download app to new device.

Sillyprincess, the friend problem may be solved by removing them as a friend, start dragon vale, quit it and then add your friend again. Now start dragon vale, and hopefully your friend will be there.
It's only a guess, but I don't think it will harm anything.

What levels are your dragons? I'm breeding a crystal right now and I used a level 9 lightning 1st and level 9 earth...hope this helps

I've got all 9's and 10's. Will not give up. I have a couple more of the dragons to get all of them then I'm going for the rainbow. Maybe I should just grow all Quake dragons and rule my islands with them. At least I would be rolling in money! Maybe 2 Quakes will make a rainbow? Ok, now it's the happy hour wine talking. Later.

Lol... I think breeding two quakes to get a rainbow is possible because someone on the chart bred it with 2 plants...I just need the blue fire and crystal now...

so what is the point of having a lot of money since you can't buy gems? do you get game points for more money?
also my building are breyered out so I can't buy more food farms. Am level 17.
