Nope, I got a, I think, a tree dragon, its green with silver diamonds. This was my first try and I didn't get it. It's getting frustrating now. I'm trying fire and mountain again but I don't think I'm goig to get it it's goIng to take 14 hours I don't know what I'm Doing wrong.

Make sure that moss is first, and were they level 10?

I still haven't gotten a blue fire or a bone using the method every one seggests which is using a fire and a mountain dragon. I keep getting a lava. I really have bad luck xD right now I'm trying out the moss and fire both in that order I hope it works.

Well first, in order to get blue fire, you need ice... Not cold to mix with fire to get ice it is cold and water, I don't know witch would be left or right but at lvl 15 I got ice, and now my fire and ice are getting it onn...

That's the first combination I tried when I was trying to get a blue fire and I tyred it over 15 times, using fire and ice. Then I went to fire and moutain to see if I could get it but that did work either.

I've gotten numerous trees from this combo and now I've got something incubating for 8 hrs. I'm gonna kep trying the air and tree for a few more days. I think the sand is a possible result but it's a lesser percentage than a tree or a couple other possibilities. It's a rare dragon but hopefully not as rare as rainbow. My alt got a bone on the first try but I haven't otter one for th account yet.

Same here, I use fire and earth and keep getting lava, lol
I think this time I should try earth and fire and see what is the result

For the bone dragon, I bred Moss and Blazing or Blazing and Moss. Can't recall which was on the right or left. The egg looks
like the Lava egg (red with silver).

I then took the Bone dragon and bred it with a Swamp dragon and got a Rainbow dragon. I had tried numerous times and
many different combinations to get the Rainbow so I think like most people say it is pure luck.

Sandstorm dragon breeding

When I mixed the tree with air I've got a tree and not a sandstorm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In order to successfully breed a Dragonvale Sandstorm Dragon, you need to have an Air Dragon mate with any type of Earth Dragon which includes Crystal Dragon, Lava Dragon, Moss Dragon, Mountain Dragon, Mud Dragon, Quake Dragon and Tree Dragon. If you like the best way in breeding the Sandstorm Dragon, you can combine the Air Dragon with a Mud Dragon and wait for 2 hours.
NOTE: there is always the possibility of getting a different dragon so be prepared to try multiple times unless you just get lucky.

UPDATE!

After numerous attempts at the combos mentioned above (all of which are surely valid), I had been breeding an Air Dragon with a Moss Dragon (thinking it would yet again not be a Sandstorm). The incubation time was indeed only 2 hours and the egg is purple with silver on it!!

Try my combo or any of those listed by Emma. I think the Sandstorm may not be a guarantee on the first go, but you can get it.

--->My problem now is that I have an air boost and an earth boost, and when I place the Sandstorm dragon in either habitat (those are the two), I get a negative for both! But no other habitats on either island (the air and earth are on separate islands) are interfering! This is one of the trickiest parts of the game is figuring out what habitat goes where and what dragon is in it's best habitat so as not to get a negative!! Grr! Any advice would be of great help!

Just made level 19 too!

I placed my sandstorm in an earth habit on the 3rd island, with no boosts. The difference in $ was minimal, $1 per hour actually, so I thought this worked best for me. I put the mountain dragon on that habitat too, and as my cold boost is in that island, I'm not losing any cash. But the sandstorm dragon pays really bad, so you shouldn't really worry...
