Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

Hi I'm new and trying to figure out how to give gifts to friends and visit their islands...please help???

Go to the friends button at the bottom of your screen on the bottom right, click it, then if you have friends already they will be listed there, next to each friend are buttons, "free gift" (you can give up to 3 a day, but only one to each friend), and the button "visit" (when you go to their island look for little party hats over habitats there will be a total of 3. You get a small amount of gold for each one you click.

OK, to answer a few questions here:
The 3 new dragons are: Blue Fire, Scorch, and Fog.
If you aren't seeing them in the eggs screen, and you've already done the new update, try updating again. I know someone who had that problem today and had to do the update twice for it to work.
I got Scorch on my first try it was: Lightning on the left and fire on the right in the breeding screen for me. Egg looks just like firefly egg, hatch time is 3 hours, it's red with a turquoise lightning bolt.
I got my Blue Fire on my first try also it was: Fire on the left and Ice on the right in the breeding screen for me. Egg is Red with white snow flakes. (and yes cold is not compatible with fire)
I'm still working on the Fog, but I'll let you know when I get it.

I tried somany times with fire and plant, plant and fire, poison and plant but actually they just breed a poison.. Huff..

A few of the ways I've gotten flower are: Plant + Poison, Poison + Plant, Firefly + plant, Plant + fire, fire + plant. It is random, but good luck, hope it works for you soon.

OK, I just got the Fog, for me it was Water on the Left and Air on the Right of the breeding screen, takes 8 hours to breed and 8 hours to hatch, egg is royal blue with baby blue air spirals on it.

The way I see it there is only one flawless way to breed a rainbow dragon and that is a rainbow and a rainbow the rest is luck

Can anyone tell me how to breed a water dragon?

As far as I know you can't breed a water dragon unless you already have a water dragon. Sorry! At least that has been what I have seen and heard so far.

Ever gotten a rainbow?

I just read all the old posts. Nothing about how to breed a rainbow. I think the posts about how they got a secret way is just BS.
Artemis give the most help with posts.
