e-mail spam help

I have 3 e-mail accounts that I use. One account tend to get a lot of spam & my Macbook filters it well but my iPad doesn't seem to filter it at all. Does anyone know how to stop spam or deflect it on the iPad?

ipad currently has no spam detection or any way to impliment rules.

You need to log into the email accounts directly and turn on the spam filters or create some rules for spam. Spam will then be filtered by your email provider before they even get to your iPad. Doing this also will save you time from downloading spam emails, and you will use up less data (ipad 3g).
