I seemingly cannot attach anything to an email from my iPad. I see no option for it. Please advise..... I must be blind. (1week old iPad user)

You're not blind ... you're just used to operating one way, while Apple operates an entirely different way on the iPad. :) So, e-mailing is completely opposite than we are used to, which is to be in the Mail app and go find the file.

On the iPad, to e-mail an attachment, you have to be IN the app that contains the file you want to e-mail. Usually, there is a button that allows you to "call" for the Mail app to open a pop-up within that app. You enter your e-mail headers and the message and send off the e-mail.

Hope this helps and clarifies.

The iOS keeps each app and it's files in its own container for security reasons, so there is no file manager of sorts that you would find on a windows or Mac system, so this is why you cannot attach a file with in the email app.
