Email auto fill is incorrect

Hi I wonder if any one can help with this?

The email address that is autofilled in forms while it looks correct is then on form submission reported as not being recognised.
I have gone the address book and removed my entry then reinstalled with the correct email address but the same problem occurs.

Any suggestions where the incorrect address is lurking?

I had this issue and found that the email address had a trailing space character. Goodness knows how it got there. On removing it I had no further problem.

Thank you if you can tell me what a trailing space character is I will look .

But since I remove and the re-entered my details in the address book I don't see where the problem is.

If I backspace erase the auto email address up the @ then re-type what I have erased it works so I kind of know where is the problem but not why?
